The Agent Orange Equity Act of 2011 (S-1629) was introduced by Senators hoping to restore VA benefits to the approximate 250,000 Navy veterans who were exposed to Agent Orange while serving in the Vietnam War. The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Association has been helping Veterans obtain benefits that were previously denied.

My uncle died as a result of exposure while serving and he is only one of the many. Let's not forget.

FIGHTING FOR RIGHTS

It is about time the VA includes Navy Vets exposed to Agent Orange while on Duty in Vietnam.. Why they chose to not include this group into the other groups did not make sense to most of us familiar with the effects of exposure to A.O. You would have to be Stupid to not see the connection.

Every child knows that dust and smoke and fumes are blowing in the wind. You do not need a PHD to know this. But apparently these Experts that made the decision to link boots on the ground troops to exposure to A.O. were never allowed outside as children. There is no other logical explanation for their Stupidity except Maybe they thought the Air only Blows in Washington DC which is Hot Air only except when they have a snow storm and the Hot Air is released whenever they open their mouths to speak and the carbon dioxide that is released when they Exhale has ice crystals in it. The experts were taught this in Elementary school the same as all of us.

It does not surprise me. Look how long it took for them to recognize PTSD as an effect of Combat. It took them 40 years to diagnose my Husband who had left his leg behind when he was given his one way ticket back to the states. They did not recognize the 10 Classic Symptoms of PTSD that Civilian Psychiatrist used to determine their patients with after a Traumatic Event had Occurred as being the same symptoms that combat vets were experiencing. Again no connection was made. A total lack of Common Sense!!!
